Tips   Delete type versions

You cannot delete activated type versions. You must first enable and activate a new type version, which automatically deactivates the current version. After the version is deactivated, you can delete it.

You cannot delete a deactivated type version if there are supplier catalogs that still contain the old, deactivated type version. In order to delete the old type version, you must identify the supplier catalogs that are using the old type version and revalidate them (thus revalidating them against the new type version) or delete them if they are no longer needed.

If the deletion fails and you are unsure why, go the the Server Manager workspace in Ariba Buyer Administrator and check the log files for more information.
