When a request is prepared by one user on behalf of another (that is, when the requester and the preparer are different), the notification is sent to the preparer, not the requester.

When an approver denies a request, Ariba Buyer emails a notification message to the requester indicating which approver denied the request.

The requester or the preparer can edit the request and resubmit it.
