When a request is prepared by one user on behalf of another (that is, when the requester and the preparer are different), the notification is sent to the preparer, not the requester.

When a request is withdrawn, either by you (as requester) or automatically (because it was not approved or denied within a specified time limit), Ariba Buyer sends an email notification message to the requester and to the approvers, delegates, and watchers of the request. The message does not require any action on your part.

Once a request has been withdrawn, all existing approvals are lost. You must submit the request again if you want to continue with it.
