General permissions

This permission	Authorizes users to
AccessibilityEnabled	Access a version of the user interface enhanced to make it more accessible to users with disabilities.
AddApprovalRequest	Add approvers to the approval flow of a request.
AnalysisAdmin	Access the Analysis Administrative Console to perform administrative tasks on Ariba Analysis.
AnalysisAuthorized	View links to access and work with Ariba Analysis.
BuyerAuthorized	View and work with Ariba Buyer. Ariba Spend Management applications share a common set of permissions, such as BuyerAuthorized and SourcingAuthorized, that are used to control user access to individual applications. In the default configuration of Ariba Buyer, all users have the BuyerAuthorized permission. Users of other Ariba Spend Management applications, such as supplier users who punch in to Ariba Buyer, might not have this permission.
DashboardAuthorized	View and work with the Ariba Spend Management Dashboard. Users who have this permission are authorized to use the Ariba Spend Management Dashboard. In the default configuration, this permission is assigned to the roles Expense Manager, Professional Buyer, Tax Manager, Contract Manager, Invoice Manager, and Payment Manager.
DirectOrderEmail	Send direct orders by email -- the DirectOrderEmail permission specifies the name that appears in the From field in the messages. Only one user should be assigned this permission. If multiple users have this permission, or if no one has it, Ariba Buyer logs a warning message in the log file.
EditApprovable	Edit specific types of requests and documents after they have been submitted for approval.
NoApprovalNotification	Decline receipt of the email notification message (Notification 42) sent whenever your approval of a request or document is required.
NoPasswordExpiration	Bypass required password updates. Typically, most users are required to change passwords on a regular basis, with certain exceptions.
NoSupervisor	Bypass having a supervisor assigned to them in Ariba Buyer. This permission is useful for users who do not have supervisors, such as a company president. In most cases, however, supervisors are necessary for approval escalations and other approval rules.
NoWatcherNotification	Decline receipt of the email notification message (Notification 38) sent whenever you are included as a watcher in the approval flow of a request or document.
PurchasingAgent	Run queries and edit various kinds of requests and documents.
QueryAll	Access all requests or documents when running reports and queries, including requests whose status is Composing. Without this permission, users are restricted to searching only their own requests or documents.
RemoveAnyApprovalRequest	Remove approvers from the approval chain for approvable documents. This permission is used in the default configuration.
SearchManager	Create and save system searches that all users can access from the Home page.
