Your profile involves personal information, such as your name or email address, or how you want to delegate authority. Preferences indicate how you want to work in Ariba Buyer, such as when to receive email notification messages, or how to display currencies.

If you selected the Supplier Direct partition at log in, you can change only your default locale.

• To change your password, click Change Your Password.
• To delegate your approval authority to another user (for example, while you are on vacation), click Delegate Approval Authority.
• To give users (such as those in management) permission to view charges you make on your corporate purchasing card (PCard) or travel and expenses charge card, click Assign Viewers to Your Charges. This option appears only if you have a company-issued charge card.
• To change personal information, such as your accounting and shipping information, click Change Your Profile.
• To change default preferences for locale and currency, click Change default locale and currency.
• To change default preferences for email notification messages, click Change email notification preferences.
• To reset default preferences, including Inline Tips and confirmation pages, click Reset default Preferences.
