If you want Ariba Buyer to send cancellations directly to an ERP, ERP push of cancel orders must be enabled. See your system administrator for more information or refer to the Ariba Buyer Procurement Guide.

If a user deletes all of an order's line items from the requisition that generated the order (essentially canceling the order), and canceling orders is not enabled, Ariba Buyer emails a notification message to users with the PurchaseOrderCancelEmail permission (typically purchasing agents), so they can undo the deletion of at least one of the line items, ensuring the order is not canceled and a change order is sent. |
