Select a purchase order or contract receipt to work on or view, or,
if authorized, a milestone
to verify. You can also use Explore Search on the Home page to find
the milestone tracker (MT) to use to verify
the milestone.
Submit a receipt during the same session that you enter receipt details,
so approvers and other users know the current status of the receipt.
By submitting receipts immediately after entering the details, you ensure
the receipt status is up to date, and that you maintain a clean audit
trail, should you need to review the receipt history later.

To display the Select Receipt or Milestone Tracker
screen, click Receive on the View Request Details screen,
or click Select Receipt on the Receive Items screen for
a selected order.

For receipts: You can use a new receipt,
or add details to an existing receipt (when one exists).
- To select a receipt and enter the receiving
details, click the receipt ID of any item listed in the Receipts -
Approval Needed section. The receipt ID indicates the receipt type,
such as receipt (RC) or receipt tracker (RC). You can enter a receipt
only if the receipt status is Composing.
- If the date field is empty, you will create
a new receipt.
- If a date exists, you will add to an existing receipt.
- To view existing receipt details, click the
Receipt ID of an item whose status is not Composing (for example,
Submitted or Approved).
- To view additional details, click any link,
such as Order ID or Supplier.
For milestone trackers
- To select a milestone tracker to verify, click
the ID of a milestone tracker listed in the Milestones - Verification
Needed section. You can verify any milestone tracker that has not
yet been verified.
- If the date field is empty, you will create
a new milestone tracker.
- If a date exists, you will add to an existing milestone tracker.
- To view existing milestone tracker details,
click the ID of a milestone tracker whose status is not Composing
(for example, Submitted or Approved).
