If you are a milestone verifier, you can use Explore Search on the Home page to find the milestone tracker (MT) to verify. You can also add milestones to contracts. For more information, see About contract milestones.

In configurations where Ariba Category Procurement is enabled, you can add milestone items from the Ariba product catalog to requisitions just as you would add items for goods, services, and fees. Milestones help you monitor time-dependent deliverables, and control payments associated with those deliverables. Milestones are also useful when you need to procure resources for a project from a supplier, but you don't know all the details of the items and contractors you will need. You can add milestone items as placeholders for parts of the project, such as setting up a server, and the supplier can fill in the rest of the details when creating a proposal in response to a collaboration request. A milestone represents an obligation that must be completed by a supplier to properly fulfill the requirements of the requisition. Milestones are typically tied to due dates, and result in payment upon successful completion. You might use milestones to specify:
