To display the Add Title screen, on the Home page click Requisition in the Navigation Panel or Create in the central "swoosh" or image, and then click Requisition.

 
  1. Enter a meaningful title for the requisition.
  2. Specify on whose behalf you are creating the requisition.
  3. If you do not want the purchase order sent to the supplier as soon as the request is approved, indicate the date on which you do want it sent (in effect delaying the purchase).
  4. Specify an organization. By default, the organization is that of the user on whose behalf the requisition is being created.
  5. If you have permission to access Ariba Category Management (ACM), you can add the requisition to an existing project, or create a new project and add the requisition to it. Click Add to Project or Create Project to take one of these actions.
  6. Click Next to go to the next step in the process or Exit to stop working on the request. If you exit and choose to save the request, it has a status of Composing. You can edit the request at a later time and then submit it for approval.
