When online booking is enabled, the Book a Trip link (which takes you to your travel booking provider's website where you can make travel reservations) appears on the Travel & Expense screen.

When Ariba Travel & Expense is configured for online booking, you can make travel reservations for air, rail, hotel, and car rental with your company's travel booking provider as part of the travel authorization process.

When the travel authorization is approved, a travel authorization order is sent to the travel booking provider.
