When booking a trip with a travel booking provider, transportation (air and rail), hotel, and car rental reservations are made in the provider's website.

If you experience a connection error when trying to punch out to your provider's website, contact your system administrator.

Each reservation you make is automatically added as a travel item to a travel authorization.

1. In your travel booking provider's website, make reservations for air, rail, hotel, and car rental.
2. When you are finished making your travel reservations, return to the travel authorization Summary screen in Ariba Travel & Expense. The link you click depends on the implementation of your travel booking provider.
3. Before your travel reservations can be ticketed, you must submit the travel authorization for approval. Once approved, the travel booking provider will complete the ticketing process.
