Ariba Buyer emails notification messages to keep relevant users informed of the status of requests, and logs the history onto the History tab.

When adding a milestone to a contract or requisition, the requester can specify that the verifier should receive an email reminder of the impending milestone due date. The verifier is responsible for updating the milestone tracker (MT) with completion details.

To view the status of a milestone, do one of the following:

• Contracts: display the contract details, and then click the Milestones tab.
• Requisitions: display the requisition details, and then click the Receipts tab.
