Tips   View order fulfillment status

When an order is routed through Ariba Supplier Network (Ariba SN), you can view the current order fulfillment status.

An order confirmation acknowledges that the supplier received the order; not necessarily that the supplier will fill the order exactly as you requested.

When order confirmation or advanced ship notice is received for all POs associated with the requisition, the requisition status is updated to Ordered.

Typically, the Confirming/Shipping statuses in Ariba Buyer are equivalent to the Partially Confirmed/Partially Shipped statuses in Ariba SN; however, rejected and back ordered items are treated differently in Ariba Buyer and Ariba SN. See the Ariba Buyer Procurement Guide for more information.

The history tab lists history records for order confirmation and advanced ship notices. The history message that displays is based on the order in which scheduled tasks are run, which is configured by the Ariba Buyer System Administrator.

Screen details

To display the Fulfillment Status Results screen, click the status link of any request whose status is Ordered.

 
  1. When an order's status is Ordered, click the Order ID link on any screen to view the order fulfillment status.

    If the order was routed through Ariba SN, you see the number of items acknowledged, shipped, and received. Click Detail to view additional fulfillment details about how the order is being handled or fulfilled. Details include the order number, supplier, shipping, carrier, billing, and delivery information. If applicable, you also see the quantity:

    • accepted
    • accepted with changes
    • back ordered
    • rejected
    • substituted
  2. Click Back to Ariba Buyer Order Status to return to the previous status screen.
