Add taxes and charges to invoice

When creating an invoice, you can add taxes and other charges to the invoice header and to individual line items.

Screen details

To display the Add Taxes & Charges screen, click Add Header Taxes & Shipping on the Invoice Items screen or the invoice Summary screen.

 

When adding taxes or charges to a line item, the line item number displays above the Taxes section; when adding taxes or charges to the invoice header, this area is blank.

  • To add taxes, select the tax Location and enter the tax Amount.
  • To add shipping charges, select the Ship From and Ship To locations, and enter the Shipping Charge.
  • To add handling charges, enter the Amount.
  • To add other charges, enter the Amount.
  • To view details of the tax or charge type, click the associated Type link.
  • To save your entries, click OK; to return to the previous screen without adding taxes or charges, click Cancel.
