Ariba Buyer emails notification messages to keep relevant users informed and logs the history onto the History Tab.

Some statuses require an appropriate permission to see documents with those statuses.

Invoicing statuses are organized by the type of document with which you are working:

• Invoice statuses
• Invoice Reconciliation (IR) document statuses
• Payment request statuses

Invoices, IR documents, and payment requests change status as they move through the business process, to indicate where they are in the process.
